أقوم قيلا
In his book, he asks the reader to think and wonder, to read the Qur'an while being mindful. Not to be afraid to ask questions, and look for the answers, because the answers are more likely to strengthen our faith in god.
I like his theory about Adam and Eve, that there were in earth's heaven, it makes a lot of sense that they committed a sin on earth, and that way Satan was capable of convincing them to eat from that tree, because otherwise how could he be allowed in heaven. Furthermore, "heaven" is mentioned in the Qur'an in many verses which indicates that it is a heaven on earth. as a beautiful place on earth.
One of the main problems with this book is that the majority of its readers are people with limited knowledge about evolution. In that chapter of the book he was very bias, and only mentioned the first findings from Darwin that humans and monkeys are from the same species. Where the latests studies show that all species are related.
(منها خلقنكم وفيها نعيدكم ومنها نخرجكم تارة اخرى)
(والله انبتكم من الارض نباتا)
He also argued that eyes are too complicated for evolution and natural selection. Where new studies show that the first species on earth were in the water and were blind and then after millions of years the eye slowly developed to what we have now. I agree that the eye is very complicated, and that is why it took a very long time to develop to what it is today.
I don't understand how someone can ignore all of nature's evidence of natural selection, and be aggressively against people who believe in it. I also don't understand why people think that you can only believe in one or the other. I personally think that both can be true.
Even though I don't agree with all the points he mentions, this book has strengthen my belief in god and Islam, and I'm very thankful for his research and his book.
Since I suck at eloquently writing what's in my head, go read what Haneen wrote because I pretty much agree with that.

Easy to read. It was hard for me to rate this book because I really liked some of the points he made, and found them very logical, but then a lot of his arguments were disrespectful to other religions and to atheists. It is not mannerly to disrespect others in order to prove your point. It weakened his arguments, because he didn't look deep into the meanings of their beliefs where they could have been misunderstood the same way some of the Islamic beliefs were misunderstood in the past.In his book, he asks the reader to think and wonder, to read the Qur'an while being mindful. Not to be afraid to ask questions, and look for the answers, because the answers are more likely to strengthen our faith in god.

The information about how ancient religions started was my favorite. I loved how the author summarized some of the most important islamic values in a simple way and supported it with evidences and possible explanation. I also like how he didn't neglect the similarity between Islam and the original Christianity. Great book for light reading! Very enjoyable.Since I suck at eloquently writing what's in my head, go read what Haneen wrote because I pretty much agree with that.
