I'm beginning to think I'm a huge Anita Shreve fan. This was a great book. The back of book gives away that there is trouble on the horizon for the couple, but you still get caught up, waiting for the crisis. There was enough suspense in the first third of the book to have kept me turning the pages.Then the crisis was reached and part 2 began. I was disappointed with this story. It begins and ends with a trek up a mountain in Kenya. At the beginning of the story, the six people trying to climb the mountain have so little experience that it is unbelievable to me that they would even attempt it.
