Weigh Up Epithetical Books Hard Up, Ardon #2

Slightly better than number 1 - This writer has some very strong characters to write for and I hope these books continue to release. Well done. Fun fun Fun !!

After the first Hard up, Ardon, I really didn't think I would read anything as funny ever again. How wrong was I? Number two is even better, much better in-fact !!I won't spoil it for anyone, but the last chapter and what the author does with the story is pure class - I have never in my life seen anyone do what he has done or try this in a book before - It was magical !!Please hurry and release the third x

After reading the first instalment of this book, I was a little worried that the storyline would fizzle out or it would become dry. So to my amazement, I am pleased to say that this book bettered the first one by some distance. Not so much in it's storyline, but in the portrayal of the bigger characters, where they are written to perfection. Yes Dexter again is predictably chaotic, but as far as rouges go, he is quite a charming guy really. One thing I did find depressing about this book is, I

Complained about a few weak characters in the first book. Now it seems the writer has made them all stronger, yet the plot weaker. Saying that, so much funnier than the first. Amazing read. Will be doing the third

Although I am already a huge fan of Jimmy Perrin's writing and I loved this book like I loved the first, I did feel it lacked a certain story line like number one delivered. Saying that I still adore the character Dexter and the end of the book, well the end is just amazing. Jimmy at his best. Can't wait for the third in March now. Highly funny, everyone should read if you need a smile

Although like the first book, this made me smile, I've got to say it, not as much. I was expecting big things after the first, and after reading it's reviews I couldn't wait. It had it's moments, but seemed to lack direction for me, sorry.

Okay I admit, I haven't read another book since I picked up Jimmy's first book Hard Up, Ardon 1. My god, where does he get these ideas from? The story is magical, I didn't stop laughing throughout and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. When is Hard Up, Ardon 3 out?
