Simon's Cat (Simon's Cat #1)
I wish I had a cat :(
A collections of comics of Simons Cat. I love the YouTube channel, which was why I picked this up. Simons cat loses some his charm in this comic format but not by much. The whole thing was endearing and very funny!

I really didn't know what to expect with Simon's Cat. It was on the best sellers under "Comics & Graphic Novels" on Amazon, so I wanted to give it a go; as it seemed, at the very least, cute and silly. Apparently, Simon's Cat has a YouTube channel, he's a pretty popular cat.Anyway, I requested it at my local library...I had to wait a while, the cat seems to be rather appealing to all ages and had quite the queue. Well, I was having a bit of a bad day, I turned to Simon's Cat to cheer me up,

Liam and I used to watch Simon's Cat on Youtube....and burst into fits of giggles. If you haven't seen them.....stop reading this review and pop over there. For a small toddler and a grouchy aunt, those videos were the perfect distraction from stupid video games and playing blocks. Two weeks ago when I took Liam to The Book Thing he found the book on his own and proudly showed it to me....once home he pulled it out and started giggling on the couch alone. I think we love Simon's Cat, because his observation on cats are so close to reality. Even though the way to interpret the cats in his videos have changed during time, it's still so lovely to experience his views on cats while we witness ours at home. The drawings in this book are basically like the videos, but the book doesn't give the same taste. It lacks the small yet important details in cats' behaviours. Still, how can someone not like the Simon's Cat?[Read in Turkish]I wish I had a cat :(
