It was totally predictable. Nothing new.Well written With so many twists and turns. Keeps you engrossed till the very end.Although the secret is revealed a bit early in the book, we go on till the end as we really need to know how that person is caught. I delayed this book for quite a long time as my friend had kind off told me the suspense. But still i was not sure who that would be. I have read lots of sidney sheldon novels...are you afraid of the dark,bloodline,if tomorrow comes,tell me your dreams.....all of them being fantastic novels i expected a bit more from this one...it ended just as the steam had started gathering up....no suspense..a bit predictable...not one of sheldon's best for me...
The downside of having read too much Sidney Sheldon is that you already know what to expect surprising plot twists. That is why while reading this book I was already making bets with myself as to who the real culprit was. The thing is, Sheldon spoiled the fun for me as he already revealed the perpetrator early on in the story. Or so I thought. Because a few pages before it ends, something turns the story around. But still, the surprise I was preparing myself for wasnt as that much of a
An excellent cosy mystery with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. The characters are well-written and the plot moves at a steady pace. It does get a little farcical towards the end - but that does not detract from the enjoyment of the story. All-in-all, a good read.
