Ilustration Toward Books Sparks Rise (The Darkest Minds #2.5)

Don’t miss the thrilling novella that connects the last two novels in the New York Times best-selling Darkest Minds trilogy.

Sam didn’t think things could get worse at Thurmond rehabilitation camp. Then the Reds arrive. Everyone assumed the kids with firepower had been killed years ago. Instead they were taken away, brainwashed, and returned as terrifyingly effective guards. To her horror, Sam recognizes one of them: Lucas, the one spark of light in Sam’s dark childhood. Lucas has a deadly secret–he beat the brutal training that turned his fellow Reds into mindless drones. When Sam defends herself against an attack by a vile PSF guard and faces a harrowing punishment, Lucas must risk his everything to save her.

Includes a bonus preview chapter from the final Darkest Minds novel, In the Afterlight.

Crit Containing Books Sparks Rise (The Darkest Minds #2.5)
My heart is breaking oh my god

MY HEART. I better get some closure in the next book... or else.

Seriously?! I'm out.I didn't like it as much as the others

This tore my heart out like no other book has ever done. I can't stop crying. Should you read this? Only if you want to be miserable. It was so good but so heart wrenching. There will be more, right? It didn't feel like an ending. There has to be some closure. Some resolution. Some salvation to these characters. Please.

waS THIS PAIN NECESSARY

Im not sure that Alexandra Bracken is capable of writing a happy story. Sam and Lucass story is just as tragic as Zus novella. I was so hopeful for them and then I was again left crestfallen with how incredibly horrible this future is. Sam was Rubys best friend in the camp until she accidentally erased her memories like her parents. She has an empty gap and thinks that maybe Ruby is the reason it is there but just cant seem to put it all together. I dont understand how someone I barely knew can

ALEX, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?
