Gosh this one let me down a bit. I had high hopes from the ratings and synopsis, but it definitely fell short. You first meet Jenn after she has been dumped by her fiancé and her job is going nowhere. She has a chance encounter with army man Shane as he is on leave from Iraq. A "suicide note" leads these two to spending time together while both their worlds seem to be crumbling. I had a hard time with the writing of the book. Ok, here I am in the minority again. I did like it but I did not absolutely LOVE it. Nice solid story. Nice characters. Nice dog. It was Nice. I really have nothing more to say about it - some people absolutely got way more from the book than I did and good for them. And to anyone who hasn't read it, go ahead, it is a good enough book.
