She is such a great writer, making my emotions feel like it is on a roller-coaster - I felt compassion, smiled, laughed, got angry and even had that "aaahhh" feeling.The story started out slow, but kept on building until the climax at the end where I couldn't stop to see what will happen!I loved that the Christian theme about love and forgiveness was so strong! This was a well written historical Christian romance novel. Like all of Karen Witemeyer's books that I have read so far, this one had great characters and both protagonists learned important things during their relationship. I really enjoyed this book, which is now on my favorites list, and I'm glad I was encouraged to read this by a fellow Goodreads group member.
