Narration During Books Always the Bridesmaid

Maddie Fraser has never been anything other than the girl in the background: golden boy Dan’s little sister, crazy Shona’s minion, workaholic Sebastian’s ex and now she’s also the girl in the middle of her warring best friends.

Lauren has announced she’s getting married – just as Sarah’s husband asks her for a divorce. Nothing in Maddie’s career in event organising has prepared her for this particular combo of planning and real pain. The news that her ex is also tying the knot is the final straw. While the magazines say she should be leaning in, all she wants to do is sleep in. But whether she likes it or not, everything is about to change for Maddie. For better or worse, this grown-up bridesmaid is taking centre stage…

Critique Containing Books Always the Bridesmaid
When you see couples dancing together on TV, all you see are sweeping camera angles and lush dips, but when its happening to you, its completely different. I was painfully aware of every step, every stumble, every time I swore and then immediately apologized for swearing. Audrey Hepburn, I was not. The one thing that was just how you would imagine was when I leaned in and let myself rest against Toms chest. I could hear his heart beating.  Reading a chick-lit can never NEVER go wrong, i mean,

After reading Lindsey Kelk's newest novel One in a Million, the other week and absolutely loving it, I've been searching for a new one of hers to read and stumbled across this one on sale for 99p - I mean, how could I say no to that price? This one offered humour, emotion and romance all rolled into one and I love that - that way you get to feel all the feels! The cover didn't exactly blow me away, but I was looking forward to reading another one by my newly favourite author and I liked the

Did I really just read a Lindsey Kelk novel? That can't be right...But it is. Let me clarify something first; I really really love all of Lindsey's books. She is my favorite chicklit author. And then this book came along and I'm just really disappointed.Spoilers ahead, obviously. And I tend to write in capslock a lot, nasty habit of mine, sorry! The book is just a bit boring, to be honest. The plot is cliche and I know that chicklit plots usually are, but there was just something missing. Like,

I love this book. It was brilliant from start to finish. Lindsey Kelk is a fabulous author and one I will read as long as she keeps writing.

Well shes back, and shes back with a BANG! (Literally too) (I dont mean Lindsey like. I dont think it would go down to well if she opened up a book with a little erotica about herself do you? Oh god, just read it and youll get what Im saying. Im such a knob)Moooving on Lindsey Kelk has outdone herself with Always the Bridesmaid. Its extra funny. Its extra sarcastic. Its extra sweary. Its extra romantic. Its extra everything. With a plot not too heavy, but still with great twists. And a heroine

I can't even put into words the excitement I felt when this book arrived early. Lindsey Kelk is the Queen of this genre. In fact, let's make her the Queen of everything, she is pretty amazing after all. Seriously though, I read her books and wonder just how she does it. Picking up a Lindsey Kelk novel is the ultimate pick me up, I swear even just holding one in my hands makes me feel better about myself when I'm feeling down. Always the Bridesmaid was no different, I loved every single page of

I'm never not in the mood for Lindsey Kelk. When I heard that she had a new book coming out I was so excited. Lindsey's books always make you feel good and I've had so many inappropriate tube-cackles thanks to this book. Always the Bridesmaid is as fabulous as the I Heart series and About a Girl. I loved it so much. It's one of those books that you could read again and again and never get bored of it. Kelk has created such likeable and relatable characters once again. Maddie is just a normal
