While the plot occasionally pushed the reality envelope, the story was heartwarming and the characters endearing in an almost old-fashioned way that was really charming. :)

4.5 stars!LOVED this book! Loved this couple! It's YA & not steamy at all, but surprisingly I didn't even notice it until I finished the book. I really enjoyed the story. I loved how solid they were in their love. Safety gang safe. No ow / pushing away.

This was a super cute read. I really liked both characters (why cant authors of other romance authors make their heroines like this?) Briar was an awesome heroine. She had backbone and she didnt take crap off of anybody but did she come off as a bitch at any time? No.. She could take care of her self but at the same time didnt pitch a hissy fit when Chase stepped in.. I could not think of these two as teenagers throughout the book and really the teenage aspect seemed like just a plot device..

I absolutely adored this book. I felt like I was reading a Hallmark movie, and a very good one. It was romantic, fun, adventurous, with the hot guy, cowboys, the city girl, wow. The cover drew me in automatically, and it is absolutely perfect. Chase McGree is a cowboy from Montana, where he was born and raised. And I mean that in a, "this is a really great YA love story" way, not the cheesy kind of adorable you would save for your little sister. For one: cover love is pretty clear here. J.C. Isabella made a FANTASTIC choice with that one. The cover drew me right in, I didn't even have to read the blurb. Then, the story! Straightaway, I was in love with Chase (I think I've made those feelings pretttty clear, since he's
