Explanation During Books 07-Ghost, Volume 01 (07-Ghost #1)

"There isn't just one truth."

I must admit, I watched the first few episodes of the anime a few years back but never completed it. Just recently, I thought, Why not complete it in manga version? I'm glad I made that decision, actually. The story can be hard to understand at first (hence the 4-star rating, instead of a 5-star one) but the characters are completely adorable (Frau may be a complete nutjob, but he's my fave so far) and they keep you going until you actually understand Zaiphon, the history of the kingdoms and what the Eye of Mikhail is all about.

My first manga. I was so excited to read one of these mini japanese culture and searched for quite a small manga series. I like the shiny covers and the quality of the ink used. It's really hard to blurry it, unleast you have wet hands and press hard on it. The volume was medium number of pages but the action is slow. Maybe I'm wrong 'cause this is my first manga read and I'm not really a big fan yet. Another bad aspect is representing by the hard to read illustration pannels/grids. There is

07 Ghost, Yuki Amemiya & Yukino Ichihara, 2009. Ive seen the anime twice, but I believe it ends somewhere near Volume 1 or so. The anime was rather impressive, both in the creativity of its diegesis and formal elements. However, since the plot covered only a good five percent of the manga, I was left wanting. At that time, unfortunately, the manga was still running and had not been completed, so I chose to wait until its completion of all 17 volumes and 100 chapters to read it.The manga is

A boy and his best friend prepare for their final exam at military school, which goes horribly wrong. Teito flees the city, finding sanctuary with three (highly unusual) bishops at a church in a neighboring district. Death gods and battle slaves. Mermaids and suppressed memories. Grand schemes and war ships. Politics and possession. I adored the anime and wanted to find out what came next for the cast. (The series is complete in 17 volumes, but the anime only covers the first 4.5.)

The was most enjoyable! I love the amount of action and story line. At time the action scenes where a little unclear but the art style is nice. The style reminds me of some the old manga like Rurouni Kenshin or YuYu Hakusho. This is for the die hard action fans who love a character that has a reason to seek revenge sprinkled with some paranormal. If you like Seraph of the End then this is right up your alley. We meet Teito and ex-slave and military cadet full of potential who finds out some
